RODNEY JERKINS - VERSATILITY
Rodney Jerkins "Versatility" Album Review
VERY NICE IMSTRUMENTALS!
Whether you are into music production or not this album will be much appreciated. All beats have that 'darkchild' sound about them which will not dissappoint his many fan. This album shows why he is one of the most sought after producers in the industry.

It really is. Living in Australia, where the CD comes from, and being on the dance scene, you really get the Wild items pushed all the time. You love it, and then 2 weeks later, it starts to tire, and you get sick of it. But this time round, it hasn't! Why?! much, much better tracks!
As in all Wild albums, and most compilations, there's always the songs you're going to skip, like out of 40 songs, after a week of owning the CD you may listen to 10 songs. Though this time round, it aint happening!
The first disk, has as always, the soopa Wild Megamix! And yup, it goes hard, rocks the house! ...why ...did the hampsterdance song have to be incorporated into the remix?! argh!!! but thank... the full version isn't on the CD.
Then we go to excellent hits, "operation blade" (bass in the place, London!), "Gotta tell you" (cool remix by Samantha Mumba), a very slick and totally tranced up "me, myself and I" by Scandal'us, Milk Inc's "Livin' a lie" and Aurora's excellent remake "ordinary world".
Second disk gets better... "Groovejet" (speaks for itself right?! hehe...), a very garagy remix of Craig David's "7 days", "chase the sun", "all I do" (Cleptomaniacs), "Thru Da Roof", "The Bass has got me movin'" (by excellent Sydney group [Love] Tattoo), "American Dream" and what would this compilation be without "touch me". Just finishes it off to make it perfect.
It's just really ...good. Of course the latest stuff, no oldies on here. The first disk I must say is much more dance and it's very dnb, second disk you're looking at a lil' more commercial dance with a touch of house.
I have to say Im impressed. .perfect for listening for all dance heads, wicked for the car,m going out, friends over...it's just fine! If you have a wild collection, it's a must, and if you don't, don't worry, because you'll be going off to buy it!
Excellent tracks, excellent beats, excellent name. Wild 13
