Derek Lassiter’s Witness is a breath of fresh air for modern soul music: earthy, percussion-driven, spiritual and sensual. The New Congress "Everybody Gets Up" Album Review

Great band!
I first started listening to these guys about a year ago in Minneapolis, when they played at Bunker's and rocked the joint. Man, are they incredible live! Scoop up this cd, is my advice. It's got some funk, some jazz, and just overall good grooves. These guys are working hard to make a name for themself and make real music that is so often overlooked today.
