This is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This cd is one for all ages. I have a 2 year old who insists that I play track 1, Put Your Hands Up, over and over and over. I also have an 87 year old grandmother who loves the ballads, My Soul, Healed Heart, Lord I Believe and Trust You More.
I also love I Like It and Survivors, which is not only applicable to the Hurrican Katrina Victims, for whom it was apparently written, but for everyone who is trying to make it in this world.
I can put this cd in my radio and play it continuously non-stop. Darius I love this cd as much if not more than your previous cd, Your Will. Keep writing great music that touches the soul.

Album Description
Marva King is most known for her starring role in Tyler Perry's multi-million dollar grossing faith based DVD, "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman." In "Diary," King played the spurned, attractive, feisty and vengeful housewife, Helen. Now, the former Prince and the New Power Generation singer with the four-octave range has recorded a neo-soul and R&B CD "Soul Sistah" which has tracks that explore all forms of soul music. Marva worked with Stevie Wonder when she was still a teenager, sang on Michael Jackson's "Bad", and toured and recorded with Lenny Kravitz. Should come with a warning
I really enjoyed a lot of these tracks before buying, but there should be a warning on here that these types of enhanced CDs may not play on all CD players - I can't play it in my car, and although I have 3 CD players in my house, the CD only plays on one of them, and it's the cheaper one whose sound quality is not so great.

diane iz boss!
i'm a long-term dina ross fan & just the discovery of un-released material "tweeks" my ear-drums. however i must say that if you don't care for her enormous talent@ all then you wouldn't like blue which is a nice testament to her adaptations of jazz standards from the sizzling seventies!!!!!
